Chemical Formula: C?H?NH?
Molecular Weight: 93.13 g/mol
Description:
Aniline Oil, also known simply as Aniline, is a colorless to slightly yellow, oily, aromatic amine liquid with a characteristic odor. It darkens upon exposure to light and air.
It is an important intermediate in the manufacture of dyes, rubber processing chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural chemicals.
Aniline Oil is miscible with most organic solvents but slightly soluble in water.
Dye & Pigment Industry:
Principal raw material for the synthesis of azo dyes, indigo dyes, and other colorants.
Rubber Industry:
Used in the manufacture of antioxidants, accelerators, and vulcanization agents.
Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals:
Serves as an intermediate for para-aminophenol, acetaminophen (paracetamol), and other fine chemicals.
Polyurethane Industry:
Used in the production of MDI (Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate) for polyurethane foams and elastomers.
Agricultural Chemicals:
Intermediate for herbicides and fungicides.
